Course 4 – Construction Safety Hazard Awareness for Contractors (2024)
This course covers requirements detailed within chapters 23–29 of the EM 385-1-1 manual, released March 15th, 2024. It is designed to assist managers, supervisors, contractors, and construction personnel working on U.S. military contracts, as well as any worker needing to comply with EM 385-1-1 regulations and standards. The course provides a summary of each chapter and includes the actual text of the standard for in-depth review.
This training applies to Headquarters USACE elements, major subordinate commands, districts, centers, laboratories, field operating activities (FOA), and USACE contracts, including those administered on behalf of USACE. Applicability extends to occupational exposure for missions under the command of the Chief of Engineers, whether performed by military, civilian, or contractor personnel.
