Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
This course summarizes the requirements within OSHA’s CFR 29 1926 Subpart E, Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment. PPE includes items such as:
- Eye, face, head, and extremity protection
- Protective clothing
- Respiratory devices
- Protective shields and barriers
PPE protects workers from mechanical, chemical, radiological, or other workplace environmental hazards.
