This course provides employees and employers with an introduction to the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHAct) of 1970, commonly known as the “General Duty Clause.” The training focuses on familiarizing participants with OSHA, employee rights, employer responsibilities, and the OSHA inspection process. In addition, the course covers OSHA’s structure, purpose, mission, and the resources available to employers to maintain a safe workplace.
