The purpose of this course is to provide workers across all industries with a foundational understanding of OSHA and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHAct) of 1970, commonly referred to as the “General Duty Clause.” The course introduces participants to OSHA’s role in workplace safety, employee rights, employer responsibilities, and the OSHA inspection process.
