By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

LO 1.2.2	Describe specific welding requirements for conducting hot work safely.
LO 1.2.3	Explain safe work procedures and precautions for cutting, brazing, and soldering tasks.
LO 1.2.4	Identify and describe the four main types of burns that can occur from welding operations.
LO 1.2.5	List and describe the personal protective equipment (PPE) used for protecting eyes, face, body, legs, and feet.
LO 1.2.6	Discuss PPE recommendations for different welding conditions, including light, medium, heavy, and overhead work.
