Description

At times, workers may be required to perform their duties in hot or cold environments for extended periods. When the body is unable to maintain its normal internal temperature, this imbalance can lead to serious temperature-related illnesses—and in severe cases, even death.

This course provides essential information for both employers and employees on the steps and preventive measures necessary to protect against heat-related illnesses (such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke) and cold-related illnesses (such as hypothermia and frostbite). Understanding how to recognize symptoms, apply first aid, and control environmental exposure is key to maintaining workplace safety in extreme conditions.
