Description

Scaffolding provides workers with a safe and efficient way to perform tasks at elevated heights. When properly erected, used, and maintained, scaffolds offer secure access to work areas, stable and level platforms for working, and temporary storage for tools and materials.

This course will cover the general safety requirements for scaffolding, identify the basic components of a scaffold, and explain the different types of scaffolding systems commonly used in construction and maintenance work.
