Description

More than 30 million workers in the United States are potentially exposed to one or more chemical hazards on the job. With approximately 650,000 hazardous chemical products already in use—and hundreds more introduced each year—managing chemical safety has become an ongoing challenge for employers and a serious concern for worker health and safety.

This course provides an overview of OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and explains how employees can recognize, understand, and protect themselves from the dangers associated with hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
