Course Description
Creating living art through tattoos and body piercings is a unique and valued talent, but it comes with risks. Tattooists and piercers are at risk of coming into contact with their clients’ blood, exposing them to bloodborne pathogens like the hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
This course aims to educate you on the essential steps to reduce the risks associated with tattooing and body piercing. It will cover how to prevent cross-contamination, the importance of proper cleaning and sanitizing of tools and equipment, and overall safety practices that help protect both you and your clients.
