This is the third course in a ten-course series comprising the 40-hour HAZWOPER for General Site Workers Certificate Program, developed in accordance with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.120.
This course focuses on the HAZWOPER requirements for:
- Developing and implementing Safety and Health Programs
- Effective Planning and Organization for cleanup operations
- Comprehensive Training for workers and supervisors
Time Requirement
Per OSHA Standard 1910.120, students must complete a total of 40 hours of off-site training to satisfy the HAZWOPER program requirements.
To make this process manageable, OSHAcademy has divided the program into ten individual courses.
Each course has a minimum time requirement that must be met before the student can access the course exam.
