This course equips you with the essential knowledge to protect workers from heat-related hazards in the workplace. You will learn how to identify heat stress risks, apply preventive measures, and maintain compliance with safety regulations.

Key topics include understanding the causes and symptoms of heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke, developing and implementing a Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (HIIPP), and applying control strategies like rest breaks, hydration, and cooling personal protective equipment (PPE). The course also covers emergency response procedures, recognizing early signs of heat-related illness, and your role in ensuring effective training and communication within the workplace.
